Description:
The workshop is to help understand the many struggles Muslim LGBTQ+ experience not just from a religious perspective, but also within their immediate, extended family, and the
community at large.

Biography:
Logaina Sati is currently enrolled as a Masters student at UMKC, majoring in Couples and Family Counseling. She volunteers with nonprofit organizations that do work in Africa, as well as the Muslim Community at large. She has a degree in Early Childhood Education from Fanshawe College and a Sociology degree from Brock University, in Ontario, Canada. Logaina uses her business platform to empower women through makeup classes.

This event includes a box lunch from Einstein's Bagels. 

Cost of the event is $15 for non-paid members and free for paid Guild members.
