We have a special opportunity to visit with a therapist who is a leader in the field in many ways.

This past week he was honored by AASECT with the 2018 Integrated Approaches to Sex Therapy in Denver at the American Association of Sex Educators, Counselors and Therapists (AASECT) national conference.

Last Year: SSTAR Health Professional Book Award | The goal of the award is to recognize the best recent book for health professionals that contributes to the understanding of human sexuality and/or sexual problems.

2018 Recipients:  Douglas Braun-Harvey, MA, MFT, CGP, CST & Michael Vigorito, LMFT, CGP, CST:

Treating Out of Control Sexual Behavior: Rethinking Sex Addiction; Springer Publishing Company, 2016.

  Excerpt from his website:

“Improving outcomes through the integration of sexual health.”

The Harvey Institute is dedicated to helping individuals and organizations integrate sexual health principles and practices to improve personal well-being and rethink their organizational practices.

In 2013, Doug Braun-Harvey and Al Killen-Harvey combined their individual psychotherapy practices with their international training consultation services to form The Harvey Institute.

The Institute promotes sexual health conversations as an essential skill for professionals and the individuals they serve. We offer trainings and workshops for integrating sexual health principles within a wide range of healthcare, human services, law enforcement, and other service organizations. We also provide individual and group therapy treating men with out of control sexual behavior.

We have decided to offer this dinner event for paid members for free.

Non-paid members will be asked to donate $40 to offset costs of the evening.
